Recently, we told you how Badshah at DRC made the students wait for three hours. Singer Kanika Kapoor, who came to perform at Lady Irwin College, recently had the crowd waiting for an hour and a half before finally showing up. Ankit Jain, a DU student who came to enjoy the fest with his friends, said, “I was expecting better management.

We weren’t even told when the event would start and stood in one place for over an hour.”
When Kanika finally came, she blamed it all on the Delhi traffic. She said, “I am sorry, I wasn’t late. It was the traffic.” She also kept saying, “I came all the way from London to party with you guys.” But once the crowd settled down, and the ‘delayed’ issue was out of the way, Chittiyan Kalayian turned out to be the crowd’s favourite as they kept asking for encores. Towards the end of the show, she invited some students on the stage, including Khalsa College’s Ishmeet Singh Juneja, who impressed the audience with his dance moves. She also asked the teachers to come on to the stage and dance with her. The crowd danced to her hit song Baby Doll, before Kanika took off, after performing for a little more than an hour, without meeting her fans.
